These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the DevStudios website and any services you engage us for. By using our website, booking a strategy session, or signing a project agreement with DevStudios, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
DevStudios provides software development services, including but not limited to website development, mobile app development, UI/UX design, branding, SaaS product development, e-commerce solutions, and related technology consulting. The exact scope, timeline, and price for any project are agreed upon in a separate written proposal or contract before work begins.
All project quotes are fixed-price unless otherwise agreed in writing. Projects typically require a deposit before work begins, with the remaining balance due per the milestones outlined in your proposal. Late payments may result in a pause of work until the account is settled. Prices for ongoing care plans (hosting, maintenance) are billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout.
Timelines communicated during the strategy session or in your proposal are estimates based on the scope agreed at the time. Delays caused by late feedback, missing content, or scope changes requested by the client may extend the delivery date. Our on-time delivery guarantee applies only to projects where the client meets agreed feedback and content deadlines.
You agree to provide timely feedback, necessary content (copy, images, brand assets, credentials), and a single point of contact for approvals. Delays in providing these may affect project timelines and are not the responsibility of DevStudios.
Upon full payment, ownership of the final deliverables (source code, designs, and assets created specifically for your project) transfers to you. DevStudios retains the right to reuse general knowledge, frameworks, and non-proprietary code components developed during the engagement, and may display completed work in our portfolio and case studies unless you request otherwise in writing.
Each project includes a defined number of revision rounds as specified in your proposal. Our satisfaction guarantee means we will keep refining agreed-upon deliverables within the original scope until you're happy with the result — it does not cover requests that expand the original scope, which may be quoted separately.
Hosting, maintenance, and support plans are billed on a recurring basis and can be cancelled at any time with no long-term contract. Cancelling a care plan does not affect ownership of previously delivered work, but DevStudios is not responsible for issues arising after a plan is cancelled.
DevStudios will perform services with reasonable skill and care, but we do not guarantee specific business outcomes (e.g., revenue, traffic, or conversion increases) resulting from a delivered product. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from a project is limited to the amount paid by the client for that project.
We treat all client information, project details, and business data shared with us as confidential, and we're happy to sign a mutual NDA before discussing project details.
Either party may terminate a project agreement with written notice. In the event of termination, the client is responsible for payment for all work completed up to the termination date.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe. Any disputes arising from these Terms or a project agreement will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation between both parties.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with the updated date. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
